You are going to look fabulous! Redness from the procedure typically subsides immediately or within the first couple hours. However, it may last for a day or two. Your brows will only be slightly darkened. It will look like you have makeup on but will heal into a much more natural color.
Black, we only have one color in stock! I'm just kidding, we keep a full range of PermaBlend and PhiBrow pigments that are safely formulated specifically for permanent makeup. We customize each color based on your skin tone and your natural hair color.
I schedule every appointment for three hours. However, typically you will be finished in two. The reason for the extra hour is just in case you have any questions or concerns or if there are any shaping challenges (i.e., scars, severe asymmetry, etc.)
The "ghosting phase" is an immune response from your body to the trauma of the procedure. This is typically most noticable on days 9-14. Your skin responds to the trauma by creating a lot of skin to cover my your new brows, and they may become very faded or even "disappear."
Don't worry! Usually around day 21, that skin will naturally exfoliate, revealing your beautiful new brows. Just keep up with your aftercare for the best results!
No, it won't look unnatural. However, people you know may notice if significant changes are being made.
The first 1-3 days it may be darker than it will heal, but only as dark as they would be if you had makeup on. After the healing process has finished, we typically expect a reduction in color of 30%.
The shape is determined based on your bone structure, your muscles, and the color is based on your skin tone and hair color.
It depends on the procedure, but overall there may be some discomfort. The first pass with microblading is not numbed and feels similar to threading (hair removal). Powder brows, lips, and eyeliner are pre-numbed, but there still may be some discomfort.
Every precaution is taken in the studio to insure that won’t happen. All tools are fully disposable and general precautions are taken with every client. Typically, infections happen during aftercare. Please, wash your hands every time you touch the area and follow the aftercare instructions carefully.
Lots of factors come into play here. All of my services are considered semi-permanent and can last 12-36+ months depending on the service performed, your skin, your lifestyle, your skincare routine, etc. Typically, microblading lasts 12-18 months. Powder brows, lips, and eyeliner can last 12-36+ months.
Absolutely not! Don’t ever have this done, ever! The area around the lips contains pores and the lips do not. This means the color can and will bleed and look feathered.
Yes! In fact the average age of our clients is 55+! While there can be challenges with the thickness of your skin, I offer several different services that ensure you will receive the most appropriate service for your goals and skin.
Hopefully! Saline removal is extremely effective in removing pigment from the skin, but as with anything nothing can be guaranteed. There are also cover-up options available. Don’t worry--there is hope! Lots of hope!
